This antenna can be used to improve the transmission rate and extend the transmission range of your wireless LAN device operating on the 2.4GHz frequency range. They can be installed in a device equipped with an N Type connector. The antenna provides a very high Gain of 21dBi to give you an extended operating range. To achieve a desired operating range and transmission rate, antennas of the same Gain (21dBi) should be installed at both the transmission and reception ends. Transmission distances can vary according to the transmission speeds.
 

ANT24-0801 is a Pico Cell Patch Antenna for wireless data transmission for indoor or outdoor environments. It provides 8.5dBi signal strength operating on 2.4~2.5 GHz ISM band (Industrial, Scientific and Medical). This provides wider range of wireless coverage to reduce the cost of running standard cable lines. It includes a swivel mount that allows pivotal adjustment for precise positioning for the most concentrated signal strength. The ANT24-0801 includes a Lightning Surge Protector and 1.6 feet of Extension cable (Users may use longer cables but signal strength will weaken after 1.6 feet) ANT24-0801 is weather proof and made of corrosion-resistant material to withstand harsh outdoor conditions. This is a convenient way to extend wireless coverage to an existing 802.11b wireless LAN network.
