The Hikvision DS-8016HCI-S is a 16 Channel Digital Video Recorder (DVR). This 3rd generation Hikvision network DVR, an integration of DVR and DVS-recorder, features H.264 video compression and a DSP video processing chip.

Special Notice
The 1st, 5th, 9th and 13th video input of 4/8/12/16-channel-device can support up to 4CIF resolution and other channels can support CIF mode.
For 1-channel to 3-channel devices, there are 4 inputs and 2 outputs for alarm function; for 4-8-channel device, there 8 inputs and 4 outputs for alarm function; for 9-16-channel device, there are 16 inputs and 4 outputs for alarm function.
1-channel machine has only one channel play back.

   DS-8000HCI series DVRs include following models:
   DS-8004HCI: 4-ch video input and 4-ch audio input. The 1st channel can max support 4CIF compression resolution real time, and other channels can only max support CIF resolution real time. It has 4 IDE interfaces.
   DS-8008HCI: 8-ch video input and 8-ch audio input. The 1st and 5th channels can max support 4CIF compression resolution real time, and other channels can only max support CIF resolution real time. It has 4 IDE interfaces.
   DS-8012HCI: 12-ch video input and 12-ch audio input. The 1st, 5th and 9th channels can max support 4CIF compression resolution real time, and other channels can only max support CIF resolution real time. It has 4 IDE interfaces.
   DS-8016HCI: 16-ch video input and 16-ch audio input. The 1st, 5th, 9th and 13th channels can max support 4CIF compression resolution real time, and other channels can only max support CIF resolution real time. It has 4 IDE interfaces.
